While presenting the interim Budget for 2009-10 in Lok Sabha he announced that India’s agriculture outlook is encouraging and the government is committed to continue focus to this key sector and food grain production recorded an increase of 10 million tonnes each year during this period and touched an all time high of 230 million tonnes in 2007-08. |
