On the back of supply shortage and high demand from the domestic market, India's pepper futures in National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX) rose 2.44% during the last one week (11th May to 18th May 2012), While other spices dropped on lower demand.
With the rising domestic and export demand amid production drop, the cardamom futures in the India's Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) surged on Friday.
