Warehouse Details and Procedure & Charges for Deposit of Cottonseed Oilcake (Kapasia Khalli) at Exchange Designated Warehouse

In terms of the provisions of the Rules, Bye-Laws and Business Rules of the Exchange, the Members of the Exchange are notified as under:
All Members and/or their Constituents, who desire to deposit Kapasia Khalli for delivery at Exchange platform are advised to note the below mentioned procedure, conditions and charges.
Procedure for deposit and sampling
1. Members and their respective constituents who are willing to deposit Kapasia Khalli in the Exchange accredited warehouses are required to give at least 2 days prior intimation, in writing, to the concerned warehouse. Based on such intimation received from the depositor, delivery schedule will be intimated by the warehouses. Loading and Unloading of Kapasia Khalli will be done on first come first served basis.

Undecorticated Cottonseed Oilcake / Kapasia Khalli (Dhep) will be acceptable for Exchange delivery. Stocks will be accepted based on the contract specifications, whether old or new crop.
3. Prior to deposit, goods have to be compulsorily weighed at the Exchange designated weighbridges and the weightment process will be monitored and certified by the warehouse. It is to be ensured that the Kapasia Khalli delivered at the warehouse should comply strictly with the acceptable tolerance limits as prescribed in the contract specification.
4. On receipt of Kapasia Khalli at the warehouse and during unloading the same, minimum 40 to 50 bags will be selected randomly from entire lot for quality analysis. The mouths of the bags may be partially opened or fully opened and may be spread on floor for drawing necessary samples. In that case, all charges pertaining to the sampling and refilling process shall be borne by the depositor. The decision of the quality assayer shall be final and binding on all in respect of the bags selected, method of sampling and analysis, samples taken and the size of the samples selected for ascertaining quality and issue of certificate.
5. Four samples shall be drawn, one sample for depositor, one sample as a reference sample and two samples for analysis purpose. Reference samples will be sealed and kept separately in the Warehouse for resolving disputes, in case if any.
