  Mock Trading for New TradeX Version 3.0.8

  Circular No. : NCDEX/TECHNOLOGY-013/2009/298 Date: October 26, 2009

The Exchange is pleased to announce the release of new version (3.0.8) of TradeX. For the benefit of members, a mock trading session will be conducted for the same on Sunday, November 01, 2009 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. The new version will become compulsory for all members using TradeX from Monday, November 02, 2009. This would be available for all members connected through VSAT, Leased Line and Internet. All users are requested to download the new version which will be available from Friday, October 30, 2009, 9.00 a.m. onwards.

Important: Members are requested to take backup of the existing version before downloading the new version for mock session.

Following features have been enabled on new TradeX 3.0.8

1. Facility provided to enter the quantity in terms of Board Lot Quantity or Absolute Quantity for order entry
2. Facility to Cancel All pending orders through Quick Cancel (Shift+F3) and Outstanding orders screen (F3)
3. Facility to view Net Profit or Loss in the Previous Trades (F8) screen
4. Facility to open three Market Depth (F6) windows simultaneously
5. Contract Multiplier is now displayed in Contract Descriptor (Shift F8) screen
6. Background colour of the Buy Screen (F1) changed to blue and the same for the Sell Screen (F2) changed to red for better usability
7. Facility to submit the order using Ctrl+Enter or Only Enter Members are advised to participate actively in the mock session to familiarise themselves with the features in the new version. Members are required to log-in to live environment after end of mock trading to check for connectivity and other log-in issues. Members using CTCL facility are also advised to actively participate in the mock trading session using CTCL software.

Upon successful completion of the mock trading, TradeX v3.0.8 will become active from Monday, November 2nd, 2009. Members, who have not downloaded and installed the new version of the software, will not be able to participate in the live trading sessions using older versions of TradeX, from Monday November 02, 2009.

Note:

1. Existing version of Trader 3.0.7, i.e. NEAT, will continue to be active. Member can participate in live trading sessions using Trader v3.0.7 (NEAT).
2. CTCL users are not affected by this release. However, these users are also required to participate in the mock and check for connectivity and log-in issues after the mock.
