Trading and Clearing Members are requested to note that the Exchange, with the approval of the Forward Markets Commission has made modifications in the contract specifications of Mentha oil Futures contract.

Currently, contracts expiring in November 2009 and December 2009 are available for trading. Exchange has modified the contract specification for currently running December 2009 expiry contract and all the contracts to be launched henceforth.

The Contract expiring in November 2009 will continue to be as per the existing specification.

Summary of modifications for contracts expiring from December 2009 onwards is given in Annexure I, existing contract specifications applicable till November 2009 expiry are given in Annexure II, modified contract specifications applicable for December 2009 expiry and thereafter are given in Annexure III and launch calendar is given in Annexure IV. The premium/discount for delivery location difference and packaging cost difference is given as Annexure V.

The contracts and the transactions therein will be subject to Rules, Bye Laws and Regulations of the Exchange and circulars issued by the Exchange as well as directives, if any, issued from time to time by the Forward Markets Commission.
