The Exchange has not been levying any charges for physical deliveries of goods on the Exchange platform although substantial amount of expenditure is incurred for facilitating deliveries through the accredited warehouses under the warehouse service providers.

It has now been decided to levy a charge for deliveries on the Exchange platform in settlement of contracts for all agri commodities and for steel in the metals group as under:

i) The Exchange will levy on each side i.e. seller and buyer, a delivery charge of 0.15% of the value of delivery.

ii) The above delivery settlement charge will be applicable for all deliveries given and received for all contracts launched by the Exchange for trading from February 2012 onwards.

iii) The delivery charges will be collected as Exchange dues.
