The Exchange has planned to introduce an additional MPLS based VPN facility through Tata Communications Limited. This facility is available at more than 125 locations across the country. Members who are willing to avail this facility are required to obtain connectivity to the nearest MPLS node of Tata Communications Limited managed by Tata NOC (Network Operation Center) as per process below.
The MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) connectivity channel through Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) was made available to the members across the nation to connect to the trading system vide circular No. NCDEX/TECHNOLOGY- 012/2005/066 dated March 17, 2005.
How to Apply
Members who wish to avail this facility are requested to email their details such as premises address, name & number of contact person to askus@ncdex.com. The feasibility check of the member’s location shall be carried out by Tata Communications Limited. If the member’s location is found feasible, the member shall be intimated. Thereafter, the member shall have to submit to the Membership Department of NCDEX the necessary details in the specified formats enclosed as Annexure I, II, III and VI along with the payment by way of Cheque/ Demand Draft. After receipt of all documents along with the payment, the Exchange shall process the applications for filing with Tata Communications Limited.
Undertaking
Members availing this facility shall be required to provide an undertaking as per Annexure II on their letterhead & another undertaking executed on Rs. 300/- stamp paper duly NOTARISED in the form prescribed in Annexure III. On receipt of the application (Annexure I), the undertakings (Annexure II and III), authorization letter (Annexure VI) and payment for required bandwidth, the application will be submitted to Tata Communications Limited by NCDEX on behalf of the member for further processing. After the receipt of all complete documents along with the required payments, it may take 4 to 5 weeks for commissioning of MPLS circuit by Tata Communications Limited.
