US stock markets weaken on Friday on weaker-than-expected results from leading IT companies and realty majors. Crude prices remained under pressure owing to the downward guidance for economic growth for the current fiscal.
The fresh issue will be used to part-finance SAIL’s Rs 70,000-crore expansion programme. Steel minister Virbhadra Singh, in a written statement to the Lok Sabha, said the disinvestment would be in two tranches of 10% each, and be a mix of fresh issue and sale of government shares.
Oil & Gas stocks traded weak today as the crude prices fell by nearly 3% in the international market on Thursday, however prices firmed up in the Asian market in the morning trades on Friday.
