PUNE (Commodity Online): Current meteorological analysis and numerical weather prediction models suggest isolated to scattered rain/thundershowers activity over parts of northeast India during next 48 hours. Maximum temperatures are above normal by 3-4°C over most parts of Peninsular India and by 2-3°C over central and east India. They are near normal over the rest parts of the country. No significant change in maximum temperatures during next 2-3 days.
KALPANA–1 Cloud Imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of northeastern states, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and extreme south peninsular India.

Isolated rain/thundershowers over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, south coastal Tamil Nadu Kerala and Lakshadweep while the rest of the region will be dry.
WEST INDIA
(Goa, Maharashtra(except Vidharbha), Gujarat, Rajasthan)
Mainly dry weather over the region.
CENTRAL INDIA
