Simulated diamonds are the new rage
Compared to a real diamond, with a mineral hardness of 10 (mohs scale from 1-10), the simulant ranks 9.7. The clarity is nearly perfect, like a real diamond. The gem is completely colourless, ranking ‘D’, the highest on the diamond scale from D-Z.
