Soybean gains on thin arrivals
Spot market traded slightly higher on thin arrivals on Thursday.
Arrivals were declined to 1500 bags at Indore mandi and 22,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.
CBOT May soybean futures ended higher at $ 9.595/bushels on Thursday, up 0.50 cents/bushels as compared to previous close.
Spread between March and April contract is Rs -85.00 against previous day of Rs -63.00 per 100 Kg.
As per the Solvent Extractors' Association, India's oil-meal exports in the first 11 months of the fiscal year (April 2009 – February 2010) declined to 30 lakh tonnes from 50.83 lakh tonnes during the same period last year (down by 41%).
