Loading has been started once again for Northern areas from Guntur. As per traders, landing cost for northern areas is expected to increase as transporters are likely to include all cost in loading charges. Arrival is expected to remain nearly 25000 bags. Market trend is bearish today as buying interest is witnessed low. During Apr-Oct 08, Red chilli export was 1,21,500 ton as compare to 1,21,420 ton during same period of last year. Due to bad weather in MP, chilli production is expected to decrease from early estimate of 32 lakh bags. Market price is prevailing between Rs 5000-6000/Q.
