Firm sentiments prevailed across major Spot markets of Rajasthan on Saturday on output concerns.
Fresh arrivals of Guar seed stood around 8000-9000 bags all over India whereas arrivals of old stocks were around 6000 bags.
Guar production is currently estimated to be 35 lakh bags as compared to 85-90 lakh bags in the previous year.
However, the State Farm Department official said, “The output may drop by 50 percent, we are under the process of assessing the final output figures".
Last year the production of Guar seed stood at around 85-90 lakh bags. Whereas, the stocks for the new season (October – September) stands at around 40-45 lakh bags.
