Loonie advances against dollar

Canada’s currency, the Canadian dollar also known as loonie advanced to a 1-week high against the US currency in early trading on Wednesday.

The loonie hit as high as 1.0644 against the buck, with 1.050 seen as the next upside target level.

The dollar-loonie pair closed Tuesday's deals at 1.0664.
