MCX-SX Nov futures ends weaker

Active MCX-SX November ’09 futures closed at 46.33. Immediate supports are around 46/46.10 followed by 45.70/45.80.

Immediate resistance falls around 46.50/46.60 followed by 46.80/46.90 levels.

November futures registered an open interest of 367523 for the session. It registered an increase in volume by 3.40 % over its earlier session.

MCX-SX Dec’09 Rupee futures closed towards 46.3825.

Earlier, November Rupee futures opened at 46.10. The BSE Sensex opened at 17032, marginally down from its previous close.

The rupee was trading on a higher on Tuesday tracking the dollar's fall against major currencies. On Monday, the rupee hit an early high of 46.0it’s strongest since Oct. 20.

The US dollar was stuck near to its 15-month lows on Tuesday on a growing view that US rates are likely to stay low for a while, giving a boost to dollar-funded carry trades.

The MSCI index of Asian stocks ex-Japan was down 0.3 per cent while the Nifty India stock futures traded in Singapore were up 0.3 per cent.
