MCX-SX Nov futures opens stronger

MCX –SX November futures traded stronger on Friday morning at around 46.96 levels. And the BSE Sensex opened at 16198, 146 points higher from its previous close.

On Thursday, November futures closed stronger at 47.31.The rupee on Thursday ended its three-day falling trend and was up by 14 paise at 47.20/21 against the dollar.

Start trading in currencies, most happening place to trade

It initially fell to a low of 47.65 anticipating a capital outflow and in tune with bearish trend in equities.

The Sensex, meanwhile, continued its downward spiral for the fourth day and finished lower by nearly 231 points or 1.42 per cent on weak global trends.

U S Stocks surged on the opening of market after an announcement by government said the economy grew at a stronger than expected pace during the third quarter.

The Commerce Department said the economy grew at an annual pace of 3.5 percent in the third quarter, faster than the 3.3 percent increase predicted by economists.

The Dow Jones industrial average is up 59.02, or 0.6 per cent, at 9,821.71. The S & P 500 index was up 7.05%, at 1,049.68.The dollar declined against the euro Thursday.
