MCX-SX increases trade volume

NEW DELHI : MCX-SX witnessed another healthy increase in trade volumes Thursday as 7,94,208 currency contracts were traded with a total value amounted to Rs 3811.8006 crore.

Out of which July contracts traded 7,76,059 volumes with a total value of Rs 3724.5124 crore while August contract traded 17,967 volumes with a value amounted to Rs 86.4119 crore.

Start trading in currencies, most happening place to trade

The best buying price was recorded for October contract at Rs 48.3200 while lowest buying price was for Rs 48.0625 for July contract.

The best selling price was recorded for October contract at Rs 48.7875 while lowest selling price was recorded for July contract at Rs 48.0650

Meanwhile the NSE traded only 8,33,052 currency contracts Thursday, lower than Wednesday’s figure, including 8,13,786 July and 16,257 August contracts against an RBI reference rate of Rs 47.7900.

The best buying price of 48.8000 was recorded for June 2010 contract while the lowest buying price of 48.0800 was accounted for July contract

Best selling price of Rs 49.7975 was accounted for June 2010 contract while the lowest buying price of 48.0825 was accounted for July contract.
