Rupee down by 16 paise in noon trade

Indian rupee continued losses against dollar in late noon trade on Tuesday despite shares turned positive.

The partially convertible rupee was seems trading at 47.12 per dollar at 1.35 p.m weaker than its previous close of 46.96 per dollar.
