Rupee ends slightly up at 47.01 per dollar

Indian rupee ended slightly higher Thursday after highly volatile late session.

At close, the partially convertible rupee was seen trading at 47.01, 4 paise higher than Wednesday’s close of 47.05 per dollar.

Earlier, the local unit hit an intra-day low of 47.25 after domestic shares reversed the course and gained.
