Rupee opens weaker

Indian rupee opened weaker Thursday after regional stocks turned negative and local stocks expected to follow the downtrend.

The partially convertible rupee was seen trading at 46.43 per dollar at 9.45 a.m, weaker than its previous close of 46.20 per dollar.
