Yuan climbs against dollar

The Chinese yuan traded higher against its US counterpart during Tuesday's early trading.

The yuan is trading at 6.8289 versus the buck, and if it rises further 6.825 is seen as the next upside target level.

At Monday’s New York session close, the pair was quoted at 6.8289.

People's Bank of China has set Tuesday’s central parity rate for dollar-yuan pair at 6.8279. The pair is allowed to move 5% above or below the target rate.
