  Dollar edges lower vs Euro, franc

The US dollar edged down against the European currency and the Swiss franc during early deals on Friday.

The dollar was quoted at 1.4898 against the euro and 1.0153 versus the franc, compared to Thursday's closing values of 1.4873 and 1.0164 respectively
