CHICAGO (Commodity Online): US soybean futures rallied, climbing to highest level in more than three weeks.
Uncertainty about South American production remains a key driver, with traders encouraged by lower crop estimates from private forecasters, analysts say.
Investors are hopeful that smaller crops in Brazil and Argentina will shift more business to US exporters. Technical buying lifted prices as well, with investors accelerating there buying once most active contracts pushed above recent highs, analysts add.
CBOT March soybeans ended up 15 1/2c at $12.32 1/2/bushel.
