NCDEX Chana hits lower circuit on weak demand

MUMBAI (Commodity Online): NCDEX Chana for January delivery hit lower circuit due to weak winter demand in the domestic market.

According to Religare Commodities, the Lower demand amidst moderate arrivals has kept trend weak for Chana.

Also the higher production estimates of pulses in Rajasthan has affected the prices.

Rajasthan is one of the major pulses growing region in India.

On NCDEX , Chana for Febraury contract traded down 2.69% to Rs 3189 on Tuesday at 11:47 IST.
