MUMBAI (Commodity Online): Coriander futures declined Tuesday on selling pressure by the traders due to subdued spot demand.
In NCDEX coriander February contract is trading at Rs.3730 per quintal, down by 2.45 per cent on 15:05 IST against the previous close.
In the morning session the contract traded at a range of Rs.3690-3839 per quintal. Open interest of the contract is 11500 lots and volume traded is 10540 lots for the time being.
As per latest data from Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Department, Coriander acreage in the state declined to 8695 hectares compared 16549 hectares same period last year.
