MUMBAI (Commodity Online): Soybean futures gained Monday on short covering by the traders on the back of rising demand in the domestic markets.

In NCDEX soybean March contract is trading at Rs.2527 per quintal, higher by 1.01 per cent on 14:40 IST against the previous close.

In the morning session the contract traded at a range of Rs.2504-2544.50 per quintal. Open interest of the contract is 253440 lots and volume traded is 114610 lots for the time being.
