NCDEX sugar gains on strong spot demand
MUMBAI (CommodityOnline): NCDEX
Sugar m grade traded higher on Thursday due to strong spot demand.
The commodity was trading higher in all the futures contract.
According to analysts, strong spot demand for the commodity amid of low arrivals in the market due to the delay in cane crushing had caused the sugar to trade higher.
On NCDEX, the
Sugar m grade for November delivery traded highre by 0.32% climbing to Rs 2788 on 3rd November at16:32 IST.
Meanwhile, the sugar futures roase in New york after an industry group cut its production estimates in the major cane growing areas of Brazil. On ICE , the raw sugar futures for March delivery rose 0.21% to 25.63 cents on November 3rd.
