Nymex platinum futures hit open interest record

LONDON (Commodity Online): Open interest in Nymex platinum futures hit a record of 43,959 contracts Friday, CME Group said.

This surpassed the previous record of 43,855 contracts hit on Jan. 9. Open interest refers to the number of open positions at the end of the trading day.
