Gold prices staged a rise at MCX on Monday with the February contracts registering a gain of 0.96 per cent at Rs 12,860 per 10 gm.
April contracts also posted a surge of 0.92 per cent at Rs 12,874 per 10 gm.
At NCDEX, January contracts posted a rise of 0.94 per cent at Rs 12,845 per 10 gm.
February contracts showed a fall of -0.39 per cent at Rs 12,751 per 10 gm.
