Global raw sugar prices retreated on ICE Futures US Tuesday as traders were worried about an escalating credit crisis in producing nations while the ICE October contract expired.
ICE October world sugar settled 23 points lower at 12.36 cents a pound, while March 2009 lost 23 points to 13.66 cents. May 2009 fell 25 points to 13.92 cents.
