MCX Comdex was up by 2.35% to 2694.17. MCX Energy was down by 0.22% to 2651.55, MCX Metal was up by 3.70% to 3226.02 and MCX Agri was up by 4.84% to 2255.10.

Gold December 09 contract moved up by 2.77% to Rs 17231 per 10 grams, gold M December 09 contract moved up by 2.64% at Rs 17267 per 10 grams, gold guinea November 09 contract moved up by 2.40% to Rs 13603 per 8 grams. Silver December 09 contract was up by 4.86% to Rs 28312 per kg, silver M November 09 contract was up by 4.86% to Rs 28311 per kg while platinum December 09 contact was down by 1.51% to Rs 2050 per gram.

Metals
Aluminium November 09 contract was up by 4.28% to Rs 93.80 per kg, copper November 09 contract was up by 4.32% to Rs 317.30 per kg, lead November 09 contract was up by 3.14% to Rs 108.30 per kg, nickel December 09 contract moved up by 4.44% to Rs 799.10 per kg, zinc November 09 contract was up by 2.34% to Rs 102.60 per kg and steelGZB December 09 contract was up by 1.71% to Rs 21440 per MT while tin November 09 contract was down by 7.72% to Rs 660 per kg.

Energy
Crude oil December 09 moved up by 0.25% to Rs 3649 per barrel and gasoline November 09 contract was up by 1.54% to Rs 92.05 per US gallon while natural gas November 09 contract moved down by 4.17% to Rs 200 per MMBTU.

Agriculture
Refsoyoil December 09 contract went up by 5.90% Rs 487.95 per 10 kgs, CPO December 09 contract moved up by 6.96% to Rs 339.60 per 10 kgs, chana November 09 contract was up by 4.80% to Rs 2640 per 100 kgs, cardamom December 09 contract was up by 3.12% to Rs 818.25 per kg, guarseed December 09 contract was up by 3.91% to Rs 2711 per 100 kgs.

Mentha oil November 09 contract was up by 4.82% to Rs 569.60 per kg, soyabean December 09 contract gained by 4.54% to Rs 2382 per 100 kgs, kapas April 10 contract was up by 1.96% to Rs 639.30 per 20 kgs, almond December 09 contract was up by 1.67% to Rs 334 per kg and wheat December 9 contract was up by 2.88% to Rs 1405.80 per 100 kgs.
