MCX Comdex moved down by 2.55% to 2308.11 points; MCX Energy was down by 3.73% to Rs 2406.29 points, MCX Metal was down by 2.05% at 2595.24 points and MCX Agri was down by 0.94%.
All bullion contracts showed negative trend. Gold December 09 contract went down by 1.80% to Rs 14408 per 10 grams. Gold M July 09 contract shrank by 1.51% at Rs 14452 per 10 grams. Gold guinea July 09 contract went down by 0.71% to Rs 11467 per 8 grams. Silver July 09 contract declined by 4.57% to Rs 21464 per kg and silver M August 09 contract went down by 4.19% to Rs 21670 per kg.
Platinum September 09 contract shrank by 1.09% to Rs 1857 per gram.
Metals contracts showed mixed trend. Copper November 09 contract went down by 2.33% to Rs 245.25 per kg, nickel July 09 contract gained by 2.73% to Rs 774.90 per kg, Aluminium July 09 contract went down by 2.97% to Rs 78.50 per kg, zinc July 09 contract was down by 4.96% to Rs 74.75 per kg and lead July 09 contract was down by 1.33% to Rs 81.85 per kg.
Contracts in energy showed mixed trend. Crude oil July 09 contract was down by 4.55% to Rs 3272 per barrel, natural gas July 09 contract was down by 7.19% to Rs 180.80 per mmBTU, heating oil August 09 contract declined by 10.34% to Rs 85 per US gallon, CER August 09 contract gained by 1.56% to Rs 750 per tonne and steelGZB July 09 contract declined by 2.75% to Rs 22350 per metric tonne.
Agricultural Contracts showed mixed trend. Contracts which gained includes Jute September 09 contract gained by 1.32% to Rs 2338.50 per 100 kgsa and almond October 09 contract went up by 1.60% to Rs 333.50 per kga while contracts which lost includes wheat August 09 contract declined by 1.55% to Rs 1098.60 per 100 kgs, chana September 09 contract was down by 2.16% to Rs 2308 per 100 kgs, potatoTRWR August 09 contract went down by 0.53% to Rs 1168 per 100 kgs, mentha oil July 09 contract was down by 1.26% to Rs 507.70 per kg, potato September 09 contract declined by 4.77% to Rs 1157.10 per 100 kgs, cardamom July 09 contract shrank by 1.26% to Rs 507.70 per 100 kgs, chana September 09 contract was down 2.16% 2308 per 100 kgs, refsoyoil August 09 contract declined by 3.83% to Rs 474.35 per 10 kgs and CPO August 09 contract shrank by 9.12% to Rs 324.90 per 20 kgs.
