Global Silver ETF holdings hit another record

(Kitco News)-- Holdings in global silver exchange-traded products hit yet another record Thursday, although gold holdings fell, Barclays Capital reports.

Silver in the six ETPs tracked by Barclays grew by 7 metric tons to a record 13,117. However, holdings in the gold ETPS around the world tracked by Barclays declined by 8.2 metric tons. The day before, Barclays reported gold ETP holdings had hit a record 2,107.7 metric tons.
