Soybean prices gained on Monday owing to good demand from stockist for bean reported across spot markets despite crushing margin remaining lower.
Limited supplies likely to prevail for global soybean across the globe is supported positive trend.
Soy oil prices gained marginally on Saturday in line with bean while higher imports expectation in month of January and higher port wise stocks limited any steep gains in prices. Revival in demand for palm oil supported prices in Indian commodity bourses.
Mustard seed prices remained on gaining note following soybean. Despite arrivals prices of mustard are picking up across spot and futures on anticipation of the commodity to remain short fall for the 2012.
Supplies of soybean are also limited for the current year across the globe adding to strength in mustard prices.
