Maize futures extended losses for third consecutive day as futures market did not have any cues from the spot markets to follow.

Global supplies of maize are reported to be comfortable which has kept prices under pressure.

Europe is not keen on maize imports which are affecting the international maize prices as well as sentiments in Indian market.
