NCDEX turmeric steady on weak fundamentals, sell below 4700: Edelweiss
Indian turmeric futures settled steady to Rs.4662 on account of weak fundamentals.
As per market sources, the total production of turmeric in the current year is likely at 90 lakh bags against 70 lakh bags that were reported last year in the same period.
The arrivals shoot up in the local mandis as farmer brought more quantity into the market on the back of good Offtakes by the speculators.
