D'damas Gitanjali Gold Store opened in Mumbai

Neetu Chandra cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony of a new gold jewellery outlet in Mumbai, India this week.

The Bollywood star, who was wearing a golden yellow outfit, attended the inauguration of the D'damas Gitanjali Store in Bandra and claimed she was proud to be part of the event, Oneindia reports.

A collaboration between Dubai-based designer Damas and major Indian retailer Gitanjali Gems, the shop sells a range of plain gold and contemporary studded items from the D'damas branded jewellery collections.

Mr RK Menon, chief operating officer at D'damas, was quoted by Sampurn Media as saying his company is delighted that Mumbai now has a store where customers "can experience the entire brand offering".

"They will also be able to definitely buy and own something unique and relevant from the sheer choice that D'damas offers to its customers," he remarked.

According to the D'damas website, the brand is currently represented in more than 159 towns and cities around the world.
