Cash4Gold inducts eBay's Knight for marketing

FLORIDA, USA (Commodity Online): Cash4Gold, America's leading gold buyer has strengthened its executive team with the hire of David Knight as the company's Senior Vice President for International Marketing and Expansion. The industry-leading Cash4Gold is hoping to leverage Knight's unique experience as it expands internationally, making the mail-in refining service that it pioneered available to hundreds of millions of consumers all around the world.

Knight joins Cash4Gold from eBay where he served as Vice President of International Marketing and then Vice President of Internal Communication.

Knight recently helped Cash4Gold expand into the U.K., and will be influential in the company's international strategy moving forward. Knight will report to Cash4Gold Co-Founders CEO Jeff Aronson and President Howard Mofshin.

In addition to expanding Cash4Gold's global reach, Knight is charged with enhancing the Cash4Gold brand overall.

As VP of Internal Communication at eBay, Knight managed all internal communications for eBay Inc, (eBay Marketplaces, Skype and PayPal). During his tenure, Knight successfully secured eBay's place on the "Great Places to Work" list and skillfully executed all internal communications during the company's CEO transition in March 2008. Prior to that, Knight served as VP of International Marketing for eBay Marketplaces where he leveraged the power of the eBay brand, led global strategies on key marketing initiatives and shared best practices across the globe.

Knight also put in over 19 years in various positions at PepsiCo including VP, International Marketing for Gatorade. In that position he successfully delivered the first global Gatorade integrated marketing campaigns and rolled out Gatorade throughout the PepsiCo bottling network in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Prior to that, Knight led PepsiCo's successful strategy to introduce Gatorade, Tropicana Juices, SoBe Teas and Aquafina water to the Asia Pacific region, and spent 11 years marketing for the Frito-Lay snack food division.

An Australian native, Knight's career of international brand-building has included stints in Hong Kong, Sydney, Dallas, San Francisco and New York City. An accomplished athlete, he has completed an astonishing 14 Ironman Triathlons (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, 26.2 mile run) and has swum across the English Channel.
