Damas launches Spanish gold jewellery in UAE
DUBAI (Commodity Online): Damas has announced the availability of a range of
Gold jewellery from Bagues Masriera at its stores in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The 18k gold pendant chains, brooches, drop earrings and rings from the Spanish jewellery house come in two collections - the Art Deco and Art Nouveau ranges - and are decorated with a variety of gemstones.
Pieces in the Art Nouveau range have been inspired by the work of master jeweller Lluis Masriera.
"Gifted goldsmith and modernist painter Lluis Masriera's enthralling creations pushed the frontiers of creativity. So they forever remain a reference point in jewellery art," remarked Tawhid Abdullah, managing director of Damas Jewellery.
Bagues Masriera was created through a merger between Bagues, Masriera and Carreras in 1985, with Bagues specialising in Art Deco-inspired pieces and Masriera's designs being based on the Art Nouveau style.
