Gold at record highs and best time to sell

NEW YORK (Commodity Online): EmpireGoldBuyers.com, an expert in the field of buying and selling gold, is advising consumers that now is the time to sell gold. While Copper and soybeans have been past winners on the trading room floor, today's investors are finding fiscal rewards in pure Gold as it climbed to a record high above $1,040 per ounce on Tuesday, October 6th topping the previous record of $1,033.90 in March 2008. On Thursday, gold has climbed further to 1040 levels.

"As the value of the dollar continues to weaken, we're seeing the value of gold continue to increase," says EmpireGoldBuyers.com founder Gene Furman. "That means a lot to all Americans who are considering selling gold for cash."

For those consumers looking to turn their gold holdings into greenbacks, this welcome news comes at an opportune time. With unemployment rates continuing to rise and job outlooks looking uncertain, gold sales offers a solid opportunity for people to add some dollar signs to the bank account.

The worldwide picture that involves gains in gold futures and a move from base commodities means higher payouts for Gold sellers. Long considered a solid investment, the price for gold bullion is expected to continue to skyrocket. This makes now an ideal time for those consumers strapped by harsh economic conditions to sell their jewelry and scrap gold.

Cash for gold companies  who directly buy gold from the public offer a secure place for such transactions. Empire Gold Buyers strives to educate the public regarding the true current value of gold, and always attempts to help clients get the highest returns possible for their jewelry and scrap pieces. With their commitment to friendly service, convenience and no obligation appraisals, they make it simple for the everyday consumer to reap the monetary benefits of selling gold, a company press release stated.

The key to receiving the best price for Grandmother's ring or those solid gold earrings lying hidden in the jewelry chest is dealing with a company that can offer the closest payout possible to the current market value. Empire Gold Buyers offers such an advantage to every customer.

"Our in-house process means that we can give our customers the best prices possible for their pieces." says Furman. (Courtesy: PRWeb)

I would strongly suggest checking out the Silver and Gold Exchange before selling gold or silver to ANYONE. I did a great deal of research, online and offline, and learned a lot about this business. I checked pawn shops, jewelers, "gold parties", hotel "buying events as well as the online buyers, including the "as seen on tv" guys. I found that the Silver and Gold Exchange paid more than anyone else I could find. I liked the fact that they post the prices they pay per gram (beware of the places that quote in pennyweight/DWT) on a live price chart at http://SilverAndGoldExchange.com I also checked out their Better Business Bureau report and found they have never had a single complaint as opposed to HUNDREDS of complaints some other companies have! I recommend them 100%
