NEW DELHI (Commodity Online) : India’s inflation rate based on the whole sale price index rose to 1.21 percent for the week ended October 10 compared to last week’s 0.92.
The wholesale price index was at 242.2 points on Oct. 10, compared with 241.9 a week earlier, according to an official data by Commerce ministry.

Inflation rose to above one percentage mark after remaining below one per cent for five consecutive weeks and before that below-zero levels for 13 weeks in a row.
