Commodity Online MUMBAI: India’s gold reserves and special drawing rights (SDR) during the week ended June 5 stood unchanged at $9.604 billion and $1 million, respectively, the RBI said.
The country’s forex reserves declined by $1.089 billion to $261.317 billion for the week as compared to $262.306 billion in the previous week.

During the period, the foreign currency assets, dipped by $1.089 billion to 250.367 billion as compared to $251.456 billion in the previous week.
Foreign currency assets expressed in US dollar terms include the effect of appreciation or depreciation of non-US currencies (such as Euro, Sterling, Yen) held in reserves.
India’s reserve position in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) remains same at $1.245-billion, the RBI said.
