MCX launches 13 new contracts

NEW DELHI : Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), India’s largest commodity exchnge, on Monday started 13 new contracts, including gold guinea, electricity and channa dal from both agriculture and non-agriculture items.
In a circular issued here, the MCX said, among base metals one contract each of aluminum, nickel, zinc, lead and tin were launched Monday.
In agricultural commodities, the exchange launched contracts in channa dal, cardamom, refined soya oil, raw jute and kapasia khalli.
Gold guinea August contract and electricity monthly and electricity weekly contracts were also launched Monday.
