MUMBAI (Commodity Online): India’s commodity bourse, National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX), said on Wednesday that it will reduce trading time by 25 minutes for non-agri commodities trading in order to save daylight timing.

In a circular, NCDEX announced that it will cut trade timing for bullion, metals, crude oil, natural gas, polymers and carbon credits to 2330 IST (11.30 PM) from 2355 IST (11.55 PM) from March 15 to November 7.

The reduction is because of the daylight-saving timings that will be effective internationally. However trading time Saturdays--held between 1000 IST (10.00 AM) and 1400 IST (02.00 PM) -- for all commodities will remain unchanged.
