Nepal follows India, hikes fuel prices
KATHMANDU (Commodity Online) : Following its big neighbour India, Nepal on Tuesday announced price hikes of petroleum products.
In a press meet, Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) released new prices for petroleum products.
The corporation hiked petrol price by Nepal Rs 3 per litre and Kerosene and diesel by Nepal Rs 2.50 per litre.
With the price hike the price of petrol, kerosene and diesel have reached Nepal Rs 85, Nepal Rs 65.50 and Nepal Rs 65.50 respectively.
Earlier the prices were Nepal Rs. 82.00, Nepal 63.00 and Nepal 63.00 as per the rate issued by the NOC.
The NOC raised the price of the petroleum products twice since the month of Baishak Nepali New Year.
