NEW DELH (Commodity Online): In separate tenders, state run trading firm invited bids to import around 73000 tonnes of pulses to be delivered by February 2010.
The company has floated two separate tenders, inviting bidders for the import of 50,000 tonnes of Canadian yellow peas and 23,000 tonnes of other pulses such as tur, urad and green moong.
The two bids will close on October 28 and a decision on the tenders will be taken on November 4.
Trade sitting at the comfort of home. Start with a mere 50$According to the first tender notice, bidders should source yellow peas grown in the 2009 crop season in Canada. The shipment should reach Mumbai and Kolkata ports between December 2009 and February 2010, it said.
In the second bid, bidders should source 23,000 tonnes of pulses such as tur, urad, green moong, chick peas and green and red lentils grown in the 2009 crop year, from Myanmar, Tanzania, Canada, Australia, and China.
