NEW DELHI (Commodity Online): State owned PEC Ltd has floated tender inviting bids to sell 2867 tonnes of imported pulses grown in the 2008 and 2009 season in the domestic market, said a statement on its website.
Bids will close on November 9 and the decision on the tender will be taken by November 16, it said. Tur, urad, yellow peas and chana are the imported pulses that to be sold through the bids for the domestic supply.
Start trading in commodities from as low as $50. Join nowAt present, 2,167 tonnes of pulses are lying at godowns in Mumbai, 500 tonnes in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu and 200 tonnes in Kolkata, it said.
