BRASILIA (Commodity Online): Brazil’s energy major Petrobas will conduct energy drilling at Angola offshore with Petrobras 10000 ultra deep water drill ship.
Transocean, which built the vessel, said the drilling contract is for 10 years. It has an agreement with the P&M Drilling International BV joint venture of Petrobras and Mitsui to acquire the rig under a 20-year capital lease contract.
The Petrobras 10000 is among 21 ultra deep water floaters in the Transocean fleet and can operate in more than 10,000 ft of water.
