NEW YORK (Commodity Online): Even as the hardware giant Apple is coming out with its most amazing products, the company also has made a small change in its remote. Apple updated its remote with a bit of aluminium touch.

New aluminum body clad Apple remote arrives with buttons reminding us of the first generation iPod shuffle.

This new Apple remote can be used with Mac as well as iPod and iPhone for controlling multimedia. Apple Store listed new Apple Remote for $19.

The new Apple remote proudly carries an aluminum body and replaces the plastic like white one. Apple’s aluminum obsession is quite obvious from their iMac and MacBook Pro lineup. In this new Apple remote design, circular controls exist along with menu and play/pause buttons.

Apple remote works with front row and brings up its interface whenever menu button is pressed. Total command over music, videos, photos and DVDs can be enjoyed with the Apple remote.

Apple stated that new Apple remote works with Apple products introduced in 2005 or later with built-in infrared (IR). This remote also works with iPod or iPhone when connected to an iPod Universal Dock.
