NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday said the state in which the national capital lies would overcome its power problems by 2012 as around 7,000 MW of power expected to be generated.
Speaking after inaugurating the 6th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD), the annual conclave of the Indian Diaspora, she also promised to end water problems in the city
Describing Delhi as India's most liveable and greenest city, the chief minister called upon overseas Indians to help in its development.
Delhi faces severe power shortages these days and its power consumption is very high compared to other states in india.
